Counselling
Individual counselling sessions provide a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space for you to open up and explore your life. Through conversation and attentive listening, I will get to know you and your strengths. My practice is all encompassing, meaning it is individually focused on the experiences in your life which have shaped your mind. Together, we will work towards improving areas and thought processes in order to provide you with the necessary skills to move forward.
Therapeutic Style: strength based, solution focused, trauma informed, person centered, cognitive behavioural, culturally sensitive and emotionally focused.

Autism Counselling
Autism Counselling services are meant for caregivers and family members who are seeking emotional support to cope with the challenges associated with raising a child on the autism spectrum. I will collaborate with you and your family to develop essential skills and enhance your capacity to care for your child.
My goal is to empower families, enhance your coping skills, and create a network of support that positively impacts the well-being and development of your child and family.
Things I can help with:
- Skill Development: I can assist families in acquiring practical skills to better understand and respond to their child’s unique needs.
- Emotional Support: I strive to create a safe space for parents and caregivers to express concerns, frustrations, and celebrate successes.
- Resource Connection: I work to connect families with relevant resources and services in the community. This could include recommendations for educational programs, therapy services, support groups, and other initiatives that contribute to the well-being of the child and family.
- Advocacy: I will support you in advocating for access to appropriate services and accommodations for your child in educational settings, healthcare or other relevant institutions.
- Education: I help to provide information and education about autism spectrum disorders, helping families understand their child’s condition and develop effective strategies for support.
